HI everybody!!!! I have BIG NEWS!!!! yesterday I got my flight plans and I'm going straight to HONG KONG!! I seriously can't believe it and I'm totally freaking out!!! I leave on May 5th... a whole week earlier then I was supposed to AND on my Moms birthday haha she was like are you kidding me??!! haha and it's on wednesday (race day) sooo my Dad might have a hard time choosing to race or to send me off... jk knowing him he'll find a way to do both  Anyways I'm kind of freaking out but I'm so excited and just ahh know I'm like oh my gosh I need to study 100x harder and oh my gosh I dont even have suitcases to pack in and its right around the corner! I wasn't supposed to leave until the 11th.. and then my classes weren't supposed to end until the 7th so everything is just happening so fast it's so exciting! I seriously can't wait!!!     Tomorrow is my farewell talk and so my fam is in town! it was just my sisters kelsi, Jamie, Jenna, Linds...

Just completed week 4 in the MTC and it feels like it's flying!! I know I haven't updated you guys since week one... haha so sorry! This will just be a quick update!      I taught my first lesson in gwóng dūng wá (cantonese)!!! It was so fun okay and the girl I taught was so nice! I made sure to learn "can you speak a little bit slower" before the lesson, which came in handy throughout the lesson because these people speak FAST hahaha I taught about Sàhn, Yèhsōu Gēidūk and Singlìhng! Anytime she would ask a question or say something that I didn't really understand, I would whisper to myself "I have no idea what she's saying" without realizing I was saying it outloud and she would laugh hahaha so I knew she spoke english which was a little comforting but we're encouraged to speak in cantonese the whole time!      I would not be as good as I am at cantonese without my mom!
