Missionary Update: Our missionary is doing great!!!! She has been serving in Hong Kong now for 10 weeks! She’s feeling more confident in her language skills and people still stare at her on the streets and subway. (Like seriously uncomfortable staring - haha) It’s been raining like crazy with the temperatures in the 90’s… (yuck!) Spam and McDonalds are staples in her diet although she is brave and tries almost everything that’s placed in front of her. She’s super busy teaching the gospel and English classes. We get to talk to her every Sunday and she’s always so happy and has lots to share! She is teaching others about Jesus Christ and the peace that comes from knowing him. We’re so proud of this girl!

Goodmorning everybody! What. A. Week.     I've been having a blast her in HK! There's just so much and i never know what to write about!!      Well first I'll start with telling you about Remi's baptism!!! It went great! She was really really happy and even though her family didn't come, it was like the whole causeway Bay ward showed up for her which was so awesome! That ward hasn't had a baptism in a while so they were all so excited haha Remi is so great and made a lot of new friends that day. We sang at it, in cantonese and wow hymns just sound so so funny in this language I'm just so glad I'm wearing a mask all the time so nobody can see me trying to hide a smile, ANYways, super super happy and proud proud Remi :)      It was a really big holiday here in Hongkong a couple weeks ago but since then there's been a lot of police out especially in our area because of protests so we were asked to stay inside for a few days earlier in the week. But o...

I had my interview with President Chan and his wife, gave the training at district council and had lpos! Scary stuff for me usually Okay and I've known today was going to be a big day for my heart for a long time, so I've been praying for courage and peace for this day specifically.  Okay so my interview, so they did it together, and okay so it started out in cantonese, and I was understanding most of it Okay and then he asks me in cantonese to introduce myself and then that's that's I was like okay im still learning and can only understand/speak a little bit hahaha and yk they laugh and say oh it's okay you can try and I was like uh okay so I do, I introduce mysel...

"Mini Miracles"

Another fabulous week!  Were busy every second of every day and I love it! We've been teaching a ton and one of our friends is going to get baptized next week :)) I have seen a bunch of "mini miracles" since I've been in Hong Kong. When I first got here, I started keeping a journal of every tender mercy or "mini miracle" I have seen throughout my day! Its helped me open my eyes to see God's hand in helping His work move forward. And when the work gets hard or overwhelming, I look back on them and am reminded of His love.  I love you guys and will talk to you next week!  -簡姊妹 ;) Pics  1. Palm trees everywhere, I LOVE them 2. Ice cream man and I are best buds, we were waiting for the ferry and bought ice cream from him 3 times, I just couldn't resist he was right there and we were just waiting 3. WanChai chapel 4.
