FINALLY

Im finally out of quaratine and wow Hong Kong is AMAZING !!!! I went from doing nothing all day long for three weeks straight, to actually interacting with people and walking several miles a day! Its definitely very very very much too hot outside to do anything haha but no you walk outside and bam, you're just like wet... but my first day out I was just so happy to see the sun that I didn't care haha

Im serving in the new york of HK and its soooo coooool!!! Were over five different wards... three sacrament meetings on sunday (one in english so thats super nice) and then one on wednesday and one on friday. The ones during the week are for people that dont have holiday (day off) on sunday so they make it so they can go to church on a different day! I also serve in a filippino ward and oh my goodness theyre all so nice! its like just 60 filippino women who come to hong kong to work as domestic helpers to provide for their families back home! its so fun and they're all like "you so tall, you so tall" hahahah im like yes yes i am

My companions are super sweet and are really helpful!! Theyre both from hong kong so they help a lot with the language which is super nice... My first day here we taught a bunch of lessons which was so fun, ive been dying to teach real lessons for so long hahhahahah but anyways, i can understand pretty well, at least the topic of what the conversation is so thats good haha we speak it at our apartment with the madarin sisters too so thats been good or me too, im learning all the slang hahah we havent had time for any language study but i hope we will soon haha

things are so different here hahah just like random things, like sometimes their books open the opposite way... like what why hahah and like they drive on the other side of the road and take off their shoes when they get home and put on their house slippers to walk around the house in...

we actually put someone on date for baptism! she's super sweet and the missionaries teaching her before did a really good job... except, when we asked her if she would want to be baptized, she said (in cantonese) "you have the priesthood authority here in Hong Kong" haha so we had to explain to her a little bit more about that but shes said she was willing because she said her goal is to make it to the celestial kingdom and we were like yes haha shes super cute

Were not aloud to walk up to people on the street, but we do lots of sign holding for free enlgish class and facebook finding as well as calling a million refferals which is fun sometimes.. we had a mini mtc on saturday where it was like a day in the life of a missionary with the youth and it was funny because I felt like i was learning with the youth because that was only my second day! haha

today was so fun... we went shopping and these shops are so much more cheap! the streets are always so busy in this area haha ill try and send a video but super super crazy its stresses me out haha the money is super cool here too! the other sisters were making fun of me today because yeah i just think everything here is so cool and mostly all of them are from here so theyre all used to it haha

Im really loving the food out here ive tried fish balls, spam (actually so good who knew), tahmjai (SO BOMB) and i have yet to try durian but i saw it at the store today! they said it was rather expenisive so next time next time...

I just feel really so blessed to be here! I cant wait to do more missionary work tomorrow!!! Its so fun and I just feel in my element which is so fun... I have no problem talking to people, because most people here know english, but I want to talk to them in their language!! It'll come, it'll come...

I hope you all are doing so good and I'll talk to you next week ;)
