LEIH HOU

Another great week! I don't have a ton of time but I'm absolutely loving being out here!! 

 

 

Were teaching a bunch of people and had another chapel tour! The government asked us to put one on to "spread awareness about the minority church in Hong Kong" haha I thought that was funny, but it was really good!! And my companionship presented about the Book of Mormon again and they asked a TON of questions so that was cool, I could understand about 70 percent of what was going on haha but not enough to answer any questions myself 

 

 

Were teaching this teenage girl who is interesting... my companions don't know if she's actually interested in the church or me haha she always stares at me and says hou leng (so beautiful) and will touch my hair and so we decided from now on we'll just be teaching her over the phone haha 

 

 

We got to go to chāan again! (Okay so embarrassing I spelt it wrong last time okay so member meal=chāan... not chíng okay so embarrassing, sorry mtc teachers) it was at a white family's home!!! Houwaan so we had Hawaiian food! So good, still rice but it was okay haha 

 

 

My district is down to my companionship and an elder companionship, so five of us haha were excited for more Americans to be coming in the next couple months for sure! 

 

 

The language is coming good, theres still a lot of times where ill say a whole long explanation of something to our friends and they don't understand, but then one of my companions will say the exact SAME THING and theyre like ohhhh and I'm like I JUST SAID THAT hahahhaha but its okay 

 

 

Its been pretty rainy here lately but that doesn't stop people from wearing shorts and men wearing no shirts because its still so so hot haha I also got my second shot of the vaccine this week! I told the lady I was nervous and then she did it and after I was like oh houfaai (like, so fast) and just because I said that, she thought I was fluent okay so then she goes off and says all the warnings about the vaccine and just all that kinda stuff all in cantonese I just ohh and nodded my head you know but wow I onlyunderstood her saying something about throwing up and thats it
