Pink Prince

Hi friends! SUCH A GOOD WEEK

First things first how are you guys doing, I would love to hear from you this week! So feel free to tell me what's new with you and how is going back home!

We had another chapel tour this week! I guess there's like a free tours in Hong Kong group on Facebook so people sign up and our chapels are one of the free tours!  My companionship was in charge of speaking on missionary work and explain what we do and just kind of what were all about! I get a little stressed and nervous for those because I have to speak Chinese in front of large groups of locals... but, I put that all behind me and just full send it haha

We had cheng at the lam family's house! The kids are members but the parents are not, and we got to teach them a little bit while we were there, but we don't think right now is there time and that's okay! But they were so sweet to feed us! I had to ask my companions before we went about what's polite and impolite haha and they said they'd love to have us over again so I think i did everything okay hahaha but one thing,  they wouldn't stop feeding me, I was like no please its okay but, they must've thought I said "please give me more" because they just kept putting stuff in my bowl ???

Two "big deals" -
-our friend Cosmo accepted the invitation to be baptized!!
-our friend from Macao smoked one less cigarette this week than he did last week!!
Both HUGE steps for them in their lives and were so happy for both of them :))

So there's this celebrity here that everyone is absolutely obsessed with.  His name is Anson Lo... right now he has this "Pink Prince" drink at McDonald's and we passed this HUGE Billboard for it in 尖沙咀 and there must've been about 50 people lined up to take a picture in front of it hahaha I was dying okay but there was a mcdonalds right there!!! So, naturally, I just had to buy this guy's $40 hkd drink! Not bad

Something kind of interesting this week- we met someone and were talking to her and trying to get to know more about her right, and she's the first person I've met here that doesn't believe in any kind of God, and just believes and trusts in herself! It was really really interesting to see her point of view and thinking behind all of that (most of which I couldn't understand haha lots of ckmplicated words but my companions translated after) it made me so sad that there a lot of people especially here in Hong Kong that don't believe there's is God! Ah I just want to tell everyone that there IS a God and He LOVES YOU ah yk

Our power kept going out this week, not sure why but we had a couple video call lessons in the dark which was interesting haha I had a big headache this week, but my companions made me some hot water and that cleared it right up, hot water... who knew hahaha

Okay love you all and hope you have a great week!
