TSEUN WAN

HEY EVERYBODY 

so much happened this week I can't even wrap my head around it

Last pday we went to Disneyland and oh my goodness it was so magical okay and so funny hearing Mickey and Minnie speak cantonese! They gave me a birthday pin SO FUN Also shoutout to Liz for getting me and my companion FREE TIX 

So this week on Friday we had TRANSFERS! We had all the trainers line up on one side, and the new missionaries line up on the other side and then they had one new one step forward and then announce their trainer omg it was so intense haha but my new trainee is SISTER WIRIG!! Shes so cute and hungry to work it's amazing and it's so funny everybody says we look the same and have really simular personalities

This week on Saturday was also my birthday! That morning we woke up to a message from our mission president that said that there was a level 8 Typhoon outside and that we couldn't leave our apartment for 24 hours LOL so that was a bummer but hey first Typhoon in Hong Kong was kinda cool! It was just suuuper rainy and windy! My mom was able to send me a pizza and little cake the next day though! So nice

So I also moved areas from Causewaybay/Wanchai to Tseun Wan and wow these two areas are very different! We haven't gotten out too much to explore it yet because of the Typhoon but we will this coming week! Also our apartment... the elders lived here right before us and YIKES haha but were moving again within ten days to a different apartment because this contract is almost up! Good thing because there's a leak in the bathroom, 4 of the 5 lights don't turn on, we think the gas to our stove is out and our carbon monoxide detector is broken! We've talked to some people in charge so we'll be okay haha 

We met our ward yesterday! We went to church and watched general conference and met everybody and they are seriously all so nice and welcoming!!! I can't wait to serve/ serve with them and oh my goodness conference was SO GOOD 

I know this transfer will be super challenging, and honestly I don't know what President is thinking putting me here in a brand new area, with a greenie who barely knows the language, and gives me a leadership position ??? I don't know why YET... But right now I do know that this is God's work, and He WANTS it to move forward, so I know that He will help me and strengthen my trainee and I as we strive to do all that we can to communicate and invite others to come unto Christ! 

I'm really excited for this coming week! I'll tell you guys about it next Monday! Thanks for the support
