Little miracle story for you this week! 

My companion and I have been fasting and praying for our area for some time now because it's been pretty dead...

We posted in a hong kong facebook group on Wednesday saying that we were new to hong kong and just asking people what hikes are their favorites! Well, a girl messaged us and told us she wanted to be friends! We got to messaging with her and invited her to church on Sunday! She said she didn't really know if she could make it because that's her only day off as a domestic helper and had lots to do.  Sunday rolls around and she calls me and tells me she's at the mtr exit to come to the church!! She came in and she's the sweetest! She's Indonesian but knows cantonese and english. She LOVED the meeting and just the whole time she was smiling and she would lean over to me and whisper in my ear "I'm so happy right now!" She understands some cantonese and so when she didn't understand she would just tell me and I would try my best to translate for her, and then I had my companion on my other side of me who also wanted to know what was going on so I had to lean over and translate to her next lol after church we were able to teach her about prayer and she was so amazed and couldn't get over the fact that we can pray whenever and wherever we want! We teach/speak to her in english, then if she doesn't understand, we use cantonese, then if she still doesn't understand,we try and use Google translate to Bengali, her native language! How amazing that she's from Bangladesh, my comp and I are from the states, and we met her in Hong Kong to share the gospel to her! It's beautiful! God's plan for us is perfect

Some other fun things

-My companion and I made banana pancakes because we're trying to be more healthy, but we had like 16 bottles of whipping cream from a member that we were trying to get rid of because it expired within the week, so we've literally been putting whipping cream on everything

-I did exchanges with the sisters in my zone! 

-I bought a little $4 face razor for fun and during an online meeting one night, I ended up shaving all the hair off my whole left arm, it's so smooth now

-We got the mirror mcdonalds meal, (mirror is a really famous and popular boy band group, feel free to look them up and tell me if their music is good bc theyre everywhere) we really couldn't resist and we each spent like $70 

-Last pday we went to the 10,000 buddahs!

-During our English class this week, we were trying to explain to a bunch of 6 year old kids what "depressed" means and one of the kids goes "I just don't knows what you means" 

-I had mlc this week and stake correlation, so stressful, had a 崩潰 that's for sure

-we got the flu shot this week! Ouch didn't like that

-Our apartment keeps trying to go on a diet, for our bodies and our wallets, but it hasn't been going too well... its okay, this is the week
