Happy Halloween!

This week was busy so I'll just share a few things I remember! 

- Our stake had a Halloween party on Saturday! So fun- my trainee wanted to dress up as princesses (totally not me) so of course I said yes! 

-I got a Halloween package from my mom this week SO FUN LOVE HER 

-We celebrated sister Ngans one year on the mission! She lives with us, she's awesome we bought her a cake 

-our dryer turns off every five minutes for some reason so whenever I want to dry my clothes, I have to do studies or eat by by the dryer so I can restart it every time 

-We only got ice cream 5 times this week and McDonald's 3... rip our fast (weve started going on runs every morning to even it out yk) 

-We had a mission wide training about things they don't teach in the MTC- things special to Hong Kong culture and how to act and dress because we're representatives of Jesus Christ! 

-I (finally) introduced my companion to one of my favorite places to eat- tombjai samgor! She said it changed her life- so dramatic, we get along so well

-Weve been followed twice this week by different creepy men (don't worry we got out of it because of the help from the Holy Ghost) we just start running 

-We went to a Hong Kong food festival/fair kind of thing with lots of booths of food, but you weren't aloud to eat inside the festival grounds ??? 

-Last Pday we went to the wetlands and we were SO CLOSE to China, we could see it, it was so cool

-We had a cheng this week with a member and she didn't speak English so we really had to pay attention, but she spoke SO FAST and she wanted us to eat

-We saw two raw fish hanging from a pole in the street- smelly but had to get close enough to take a selfie

-My greenie and I gave 10 minutes talks in church yesterday! I'm a proud mom - oh and our bishop sent the zoom link for sacrament meeting to our parents so they coukd watch which was super special! 

I was feeling a little bit down this week for a few different reasons but this scripture from the Book of Mormon really brought me peace and comfort! 

Mormon 5:23 "Know ye not that ye are in the hands of God? Know ye not that he hath all power and at his great command the earth shall be rolled together as a scroll?" 

Life is good out here serving the Lord!
