情人節
Hey! Happy HK valentines day/ USA super bowl day!!
It was a really good week!
Theres been a lot more restrictions put on Hong Kong to keep safe from the pandemic! We can no longer meet with anybody we dont live with, and cant gather outside more than two people, so my companion and I can still go for walks every day with each other which is nice haha but with the restrictions its been a struggle to do much! Instead of being sad, or frusterated about what we can no longer do, weve been looking for what its supposed to teach us! Weve found, especially this last week, that weve needed to be more prayerful! We pray every day for opportunies to serve others and talk with them (over the phone mostly)!
On a walk in Tsuen Wan the other day, we ran into one of our ward members who hasnt been to church in quite some time! He was so excited to see us on the street, and he asked to say a prayer with us! So we stood in a circle (socially distanced from him) and he said a beautiful prayer! He said he had really been needing that. Mini miracle!
Something else that weve been doing with our friends/ward members is just calling them for five minutes and singing a hymn with them, to have a couple minutes of peace and feeling the spirit! Weve been loving it! One of our friends even broke out his guitar and we sang with him for like 20 minutes haha he loved it, said he could really feel the spirit, and wants us to do it with him weekly!
I know that even with the pandemic getting worse in Hong Kong and new restrictions, that Heavenly Father has not forgotton about the Missionaries, especially in Hong Kong. But He helps and strengthens us every day to bring the gospel to the people of Hong Kong!
Hope everyone is doing good, Keep smiling!!
